3D Printing
The process of forming a three-dimensional solid object of any shape, performed by an additive process, where successive layers of material are laid in different shapes.
3D printers allow designers to produce a prototype in a very short time. Consequently the prototype can be tested and remodeled quickly.
The production of these pieces by classical methods takes several weeks, but the use of these new printing technologies reduces this time to 48 hours. Thus, the time gained offers the possibility to test several variants of the components in order to develop the required solution as quickly as possible.
